First Look For Charity Fundraiser At The 2025 Chicago Auto Show Raises More Than $2.4 Million For Local Charities

The Chicago Auto Show successfully generated a significant amount of funds, totaling over $2.4 million, for 18 local charities during its First Look for Charity gala.

This formal event, held the night before the show opened to the public, raised an impressive total of $2,457,808. Over its 33-year history, this fundraiser has managed to raise a remarkable sum of over $65 million. 

Beneficiaries of the 2025 First Look for Charity 

Beneficiaries of the 2025 First Look for Charity event include various organizations such as the 100 Club of Illinois, Advocate Health Care, ALS United Greater Chicago, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, and Cal’s Angels Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Other beneficiaries include Folds of Honor, Franciscan Community Benefit Services, Glenwood Academy, Habitat for Humanity, Lydia Home & Safe Families for Children, Misericordia, Jesse White Tumbling Team, Sertoma Star Services, Special Olympics Illinois, Susan G. Komen Chicago chapter, Turning Pointe Autism Foundation and Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer.

In addition to raising funds, First Look for Charity also offers visitors an exclusive preview of the Chicago Auto Show before it officially opens its doors to the public.

This year’s gala Attendees also had the chance to win two brand-new vehicles – a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV and a 2025 Hyundai Palisade, courtesy of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers and Chicago and Northwest Indiana Hyundai Dealers, respectively.

It is organized by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, which represents new-car dealers in the Chicagoland area, which has been hosting the show since 1935.
